Terms of Use

1 Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using BlockApps ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms apply to all users of the App. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

2 License to Use

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use BlockApps on Apple devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App or any portion of it.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Rent, lease, lend, sell, or sublicense the App to third parties.
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels on the App.
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Apple's App Store guidelines.

3 Subscriptions & Payments

BlockApps offers optional paid subscriptions (weekly) and a one-time lifetime purchase. All purchases are processed through Apple's in-app purchase system.

• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• Billing: Your Apple ID account will be charged upon purchase confirmation and at the start of each renewal period.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time via iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds: All refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple. We do not process refunds.
• Price changes: We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. You will be notified of any price changes before they take effect.
• Free trial: If a free trial is offered, unused portions of a free trial period will be forfeited upon purchasing a subscription.

4 Acceptable Use

BlockApps is designed to help you manage your own screen time and focus. You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose. You must not:

• Attempt to circumvent or interfere with the App's screen time enforcement mechanisms.
• Use the App to restrict device access in a way that harms or deceives others.
• Use the App in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.

5 Intellectual Property

BlockApps, its name, logo, design, and all associated content are the intellectual property of Ali Can Batur / Sipylus. All rights are reserved.

Apple, iPhone, iOS, Screen Time, and Family Controls are trademarks of Apple Inc. BlockApps is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple Inc.

6 Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

• The App will meet your specific requirements.
• The App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
• Screen Time restrictions will function identically across all iOS versions or device configurations.

App blocking behavior depends on Apple's Family Controls framework and iOS. We are not responsible for restrictions failing due to OS updates, device settings, or Apple policy changes.

7 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ali Can Batur / Sipylus shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of productivity, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

8 Third-Party Services

BlockApps integrates with Apple's Family Controls framework and uses Apple's in-app purchase infrastructure. Your use of these services is also governed by Apple's terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for the practices of any third-party services.

9 Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

You may terminate these Terms at any time by deleting the App from your device. Upon termination, all licenses granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease.

10 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Istanbul, Turkey.

11 Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
